Thanks Fi, the progression of these paintings was about depth and space - and the objects were personal objects that we each created out of cardboard boxes then placed randomly in the studio and drew in their context. An interesting exercise - one woman made a map. Mine was me working counter to my illustrators instinct to compose a montage or vignette them.The effect was interesting and in the end I just played with the negative and positive shapes. Shoes and handbags hah !!
