This is a 2 meter long drawing.
It's the first of the 'Sara' drawings I've made. She is signing 'words emerge like birds'. I've put up a close up too so you can get a better look.
Hello Adele, wow, after meeting you and Les on the plane last Sunday I was interested to see you Blog...great! The idea of capturing the visual movement of the language of the hands is a great idea and this 2metre one must be truely great to view. You dont have your e-mail contact on this site, so I will give you and Les mine here: Arana Pearson, E: keepwell.nz@gmail.com and webstie www.keepwell.co.nz . Sorry to put it here on your blog but there is no other choice...may be a good idea to put in your contact on the contact page for future. The person I met in Melbourne also has a Blog and you may be interested in her art: http://www.initiallyno.blogspot.com/ bye for now and I would hope to hear from you and Les off-blog via e-mail.
Adele, I really admire your work; it's fantastic. I can't wait to see the real thing (because I must admit, the computer screen always leaves me feeling a bit jaded and screened out).
From my perspective, you have captured a flow of conversation with Sarah's signing that is breathtaking. Well done - you rock, and please keep it up!
